With over 30 years (and two generations) of roasting coffees in Sydney - we know our coffee. We are a second generation, with the third gen growing up fast, family roasting business with strong family values and great customer relationships. We aren't your latest trendy fly-by-night coffee roaster or brew bar or whatever the latest term for a coffee roaster happens to be now.
We buy the highest quality green beans, just as the latest trendy roaster will claim, but we will not charge you $40+ per kg. More importantly, if you're being told by your roaster to use more than 20 grams of coffee per group per extraction, then the coffee you're using is substandard and eventually your profit will suffer. Freshness is essential for quality coffee and for extracting the perfect espresso. We batch roast and dispatch daily to ensure maximum freshness.
We support the McGrath Foundation, Cancer research, Anglicare, Macarthur Disability and many other charities. As well as numerous donations to local schools and our staff’s children’s schools, sporting clubs and loads more.
We buy a selection of ethically traded specialty coffees from PNG, South America, Africa and Asia. The certifications these estates ensure workers rights, safety and families are protected.
We are supporters of sustainable coffee growing practices, offering a large range of accredited sustainable coffees and we are affiliated with a number of well known organisations in this field including: Rainforest Alliance and Fairtrade.
